Our Monk
The Abbey Orchard yields handcrafted jams and seasonal harvests that celebrate the bounty of each growing season. Within The Apothecary, herbs, spices, extracts, and bold culinary creations are carefully measured and blended, while The Fermentarium hums with quiet experimentation of hot sauces, pickles, Worcestershire sauce, fermented vegetables, vinegars, and countless small batch projects which mature under careful watch. Beneath the stone halls, The Cellar patiently nurtures one-gallon batches of mead, cider, wine and other fermented libations, each refined through time before being shared with friends and family.
Our Atmosphere
Throughout the abbey, every creation reflects the same guiding principles: quality ingredients, traditional methods, and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship. Illuminated manuscript inspired labels, parchment textures, honeycomb motifs, gilded flourishes, monastery stonework, and the familiar tonsured monk all tell the story of a place where the sacred and the everyday meet around the table. From The Cellarmaster's Black Mead and Scriptorium Reserve resting quietly in The Cellar, to the vibrant jams of The Abbey Orchard, the spirited concoctions of The Apothecary, and the ever evolving experiments of The Fermentarium, each jar and bottle is imagined as though it were prepared within the walls of an enduring medieval monastery. Ravenous Monk is more than a collection of products, it is an invitation to step inside the abbey, wander its grounds, and share in the traditions, stories, and simple joys that have been carefully preserved, one small batch at a time.
